Roll No.46, Maj Gen KN Mirji, VSM, joined our School on 16 Sep 1963, in Class VII and was allotted – Chalukya house. He was the School Captain during the year 1967-68. He joined NDA in Jul 1968 and thereafter went to IMA Dehradun for Pre-Commission Training. He was commissioned into the Regiment of Arty on 31 Mar 1972. A multi-barrelled Gunner in the Gunner parlance, the Gen Offr has been an Air OP pilot, has done Long Gunnery Staff Course and is a graduate of DSSC Wellington.


He commanded a fd regt dply in CI ops in the North East from Jan 1992 to May 1995 and 373 (Indep) Arty Bde from Oct 2001 to May 2003 during Operation PARAKRAM. He has held many imp staff and instr appts which incl BM of an Inf bde, Col Adm of an inf div, Col Ops of a corps HQ in Assam, Head of Faculty in College of Defence Management, Dy MS at Army HQ, Dy Comdt & CI at School of Arty and Maj Gen Arty at HQ Northern Comd. He is presently the Maj Gen Operational Logistics at HQ Southern Comd.
